Created 7+21 plan and optimal mining schedules to maximize production while adhering to safety regulations. Continuously refined the scheduling process to ensure its alignment with dynamic scenarios, operational setbacks, and equipment challenges. Communicated effectively with various stakeholders, including management, regarding the weekly plan. Coordinated with the technical services team (surveying, ground control, geology, and ventilation) and operations to ensure efficient implementation of the plan. Supported the creation of stope shapes, development, drill and blast designs, paste letter, cable prints, and other short/medium level designs, projects and adjustments. Ran operational 24hr plan and weekly compliance meeting. Prepared daily and weekly reports to provide updates on mining activities and compliance. Monitored and evaluated mining operations to identify areas for improvement.
Designed long hole production layouts including, but not limited to raise layouts, and production drilling layouts. Developed and presented weekly long hole mine plan to operations and technical services team. Worked with operations to resolve daily production problems. Supported the production of short and medium-term mining plans. Designed waste fill layouts, including barricade and berm location information. Communicated with operations to ensure all plans are executed to design.
Resolved daily production problems and ensured daily production priorities were achieved. Designed stope shapes and performed economic analysis to determine feasibility of mining. Designed long hole drill and blast plans, paste fill plans and cable design plans. Ensured drill and blast designs were done to optimize ore recovery and minimize dilution. Performed QAQC on production drilling and blasting and communicated feedback to operations. Completed stope close out and reconciliation, and provided key learnings to optimize future stopes.
