- Promote and lead the business to improve projects involving drill and blast engineering. - Provide mentoring to Drill and Blast engineers. - Maintain high standard of knowledge of blasting activities and take an active role in executing projects. - Develop, optimize drill and blast techniques with a critical thinking approach aiming to improve recovery and productivity. - Ensure that the business is carried out in strict conformance with the company policies inclusive safety. - Understanding cost linked to the mine plan that correspond to the yearly production target and drilled reserves. Generate explosives budget and consumables.
- Ensure blast designing aiming to improve fragmentation and recovery with available paste filled strength and ground condition. - Achieve the mine operational drilling plan in compliance with the plan ensuring enough floor materials. - Produce drilling design and firing sequence that maximized the free bogging rate of the stope. - Ensure keeping record of designs, drill and charging plans, stope, and closure note, bore track data, in a logical and complete manner for simple and reliable access.
