I'm a Process Shift Engineer working at the SAF Section of RUBAMIN. My Key Performance Activities: Process: • Implement equipment design, construction and commissioning. • Inspect,Manage and maintain Smelter plant equipment. • Drive effective problem solving and continuous improvement. • Function as a furnace engineering subject matter expect. Others roles and responsibilities are chiefly Management the processing of ore copper to produce blister copper, Monitoring and tracking of process operational, Costs Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), Quality and Environmental, Sustainable objectives are met...Supervision and operation of Submerged Electric Arc Furnaces , adapt, optimize the various operating parameters and the conduct of all these equipment to move towards optimal metallurgical yields and to achieve the cost and production objectives defined by the Production Manager. Undertake regular technical inspections of all areas of responsibility of the Production Section; eliminate or control all detected hazards, actively participate in the daily planning of operations and in collaboration with the Maintenance Department while ensuring that defects and breakdowns are assessed quickly and that a maintenance intervention is triggered and is applied in a consistent and effective way finally to keep the tools in optimal working order,an active participation in all activities of the Production Department including the professional training of the staff in order to promote their developments and improve their knowledge and technical skills to the highest possible level to meet a standard to monitor consumables for my department, to ensure that the daily management of my team is in accordance with compliance with the instructions of occupational safety.
