I have 8 years of experience in the areas of Geotechnical Engineering in Mining Rock Mass Modelling (Open Pit & Underground) and Open Pit Operations (Geotechnical feasibility studies, Logging and Mapping, Kinematics analysis, Finite Element and Limit equilibrium analysis). Most of my experience relates to mining, laboratory tests and Numerical Modelling. • Train Junior and Senior Geotechnical Engineers in mining operations and void managements; (Design and supervision of geotechnical site investigation programs, Geotechnical data management and database compilation, Ensure ground conditions are inspected and monitored regularly and the report is recorded, Ensure that design parameters (slope angles, safety berms, bench height during development are conform with design and the ground condition (Dumps and Pit), Coordinate with the mining team and especially the drill & blast engineers the best practices relating to slope stability and ground condition, Geotechnical risk assessments (Identifying and managing of risks), shaft back filling methods); Geotechnical risk map. • In charge of all Open Pits projects Geotechnical feasibility studies. • Develop and maintain a Ground Control Management Plan (GCMP). • Geotechnical site investigation programs and evaluations to develop design. • Geotechnical Logging and mapping. • Construct the Mining Rock Mass Model (MRMM) both Open Pit and Underground. • Geotechnical budget (Capex and Opex), • Open pit design parameters. • Development checking according to the design during mining operations. • Stability Monitoring and risk analysis. • Geotechnical mapping and rock mass classification during development. • Void assessment, modelling, and demarcation. • Facilitate audit, review and quality assurance programs are carried out regularly and documented. • Geotechnical drilling campaign • Geotechnical report (weekly, quarter, annual) • Conduct laboratory tests for soils and rocks. • Generate weathering profile for drill and blast.
